Privacy policy
How Bon Echo AI Inc. (“BonEcho”, “we”) handles personal information on bonecho.ai and in the work we do for clients.
Effective October 5, 2026
Who we are
BonEcho is the trading name of Bon Echo AI Inc., based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). For any question about this policy, write to deep@bonecho.ai.
What we collect on this website
- What you send us. If you send a note through the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company and whatever you choose to tell us about your work.
- Bookings. “Book a conversation” opens a Google Calendar appointment page. Google collects the details you enter there (such as your name and email) and shares them with us so we can hold the meeting. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that page.
- Analytics and the visitor tag, only if you accept. With your consent we load Google Analytics, which tells us which pages are read and how visitors arrive, and a visitor tag from Octolane, which helps us understand which organisations visit the site. Both use cookies or similar technologies and may process your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you view. If you decline, neither loads.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.
How we use it
To reply to you, hold the conversations you book, decide which pages and articles are useful, and keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose you would not reasonably expect from the way you gave it to us.
Cookies and your choice
The first time you visit, we ask whether we may measure your visit. You can change your answer at any time: . Your choice is stored in your own browser.
Information we handle for clients
When we build and run an agent for a client, we process their records, which can include information about their customers or patients, only on the client’s instructions and under our agreement with them. Depending on the engagement, that data stays on the client’s own systems or on infrastructure BonEcho runs for them. The client remains responsible for that information under the privacy laws that apply to them; questions about it should go to the client first.
Service providers and where data is stored
We use service providers to run the site and our business, including Amazon Web Services (hosting), Google (email, calendar and, with consent, analytics) and Octolane (with consent, visitor insights). Some of them store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any relationship that follows, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics service.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use, by writing to deep@bonecho.ai. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
We protect personal information with safeguards suited to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit and access limited to the people who need it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. See also our terms of use.
